Reputation you can audit

Public picks. Permanent record. No hiding the misses.

AlphaRank is a competitive arena for thesis-backed market calls. Lock a public call, manage it, close it when your view changes — and earn or lose rank on the realized outcome. Every pick is timestamped, benchmarked, and permanent.

Thesis, locked May 1 “ETH/BTC looked washed out and ETF flows improved. Sentiment too bearish into a supply-light window.”

01 The Problem

Anyone can win the argument after the close.

A screenshot is not a track record. The winners get amplified, the misses quietly disappear, and “trust me, I called it” is impossible to verify and impossible to disprove.

Market judgment is the one skill in finance with no public, auditable scoreboard. So the loudest voice wins — not the most accurate one.

AlphaRank fixes the accounting. A call only counts if it is locked before the move, carries a written thesis, and settles against real market data. You can change your mind anytime. You cannot change history.

02 How It Works

One call. Locked, managed, settled.

  1. 01

    Make the call

Pick a canonical asset, a direction, a horizon, and your honest probability. Under a minute.

  2. 02

    Lock the thesis

A written “why now?” is required. It’s the reasoning on the record — the part you can be judged on later.

  3. 03

    Manage the position

Add conviction, post updates, or close early. Cutting a bad call quickly is a skill — and it’s scored as one.

  4. 04

    Settle against the tape

No manual prices, no backdating. Entry and exit are captured by the system and benchmarked automatically.

  5. 05

    Earn or lose rank

You get a receipt. Your rank moves. The call is yours forever — win or lose.

03 The Record

The standings are public. So are the losses.

Ranked by Bayesian skill, not raw win rate. A hot streak of four doesn’t outrank a season of eighty.

Conviction chips / season

Scarce by design. Locked while a pick is live, so a high-conviction call actually costs you something.

Edits to history

…is the number you’ll never make. Every economic action is a timestamped event. Nothing is silently overwritten.

0
Benchmarks per call

Absolute, asset-class, sector, and market. We know whether you had real edge or just rode the market up.

04 Method

Being right is necessary. Being right for a reason is what ranks.

Luck is loud and short-lived. The scoring is built to find the opposite: durable, repeatable skill that shows up across regimes, sample sizes, and honest probabilities. The raw record is permanent; every score derived from it is versioned and reproducible.

01 · Thesis required

Reasoning on the record

Every pick carries a written “why.” The system can label it, embed it, and learn which kinds of reasoning age well — and which don’t.

02 · Benchmark-relative

Alpha, not beta

A long ETH call that trails BTC still won, but the backend knows the edge was zero. Real skill is measured against what you could’ve held instead.

03 · Bayesian skill

Small samples shrink

Four-for-four looks promising but uncertain. Eighty-three-of-one-thirty with steady alpha ranks as reliable. Volume alone never climbs.

04 · Conviction quality

Scarce chips

A fixed seasonal budget, locked while a pick is live. Big calls cost something — so a high-conviction win means more, and a loss stings.

05 · Exit skill

Cutting counts

Entries and exits are scored separately. You can be great at finding calls and bad at closing them — and the record will say so.

06 · Calibration

Your 70% should win 70%

05 Hall of Legends

Some calls outlive the season.

Season titles reset. Induction into the Hall is permanent. It’s reserved for sustained, multi-regime skill and the rare individual calls that become part of the record — timestamped, public, and impossible to fake after the fact.

Players

All-time elite. Sustained skill across bull, bear, and chop.

Calls

Legendary individual receipts. The shorts nobody else dared.

Seasons

Champions and category winners, with permanent titles.

06 Who It’s For

For anyone whose calls deserve a scoreboard.

Crypto callers

BTC, ETH, SOL, majors. Turn “I called it” into a verifiable book.

Equities analysts

Earnings, momentum, single names. Benchmarked against QQQ and the sector.

Macro & metals

Gold, rates, regime calls. The long game, scored on the long game.

Short sellers

Where being early and right finally gets its own leaderboard.

The quant-curious

Calibration, alpha, exit skill — your judgment, finally measured.

And, plainly, what it isn’t.

  • no.
Not a brokerage. Picks are calls, not orders.
  • no.
Not financial advice. A scoreboard, not a signal service.
  • no.
Not pay-to-play. Status is earned, never bought.
  • no.
Not for silent deletes. You can’t rewrite history.
