These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the LORE / Edge Atlas services, websites, documentation, APIs, software development kits, downloads, data products, research bundles, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). The Services are provided by Star Forge LLC, a Tennessee limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Tennessee, doing business as LORE and/or Edge Atlas ("LORE," "we," "us," or "our"). Our legal and support contact is info@loremoney.com.
These Terms cover loremoney.com, lore.market, related subdomains, API endpoints, documentation pages, SDK or MCP distribution pages, product pages, customer dashboards, and any other site or service that links to these Terms.
By creating an account, requesting an API key, accessing the Services, downloading any data product, using any SDK or MCP resource, clicking to accept these Terms, or using the Services in any way, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Services on behalf of a company, organization, or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity, and "you" includes that entity.
1. Important product and financial disclaimers
LORE / Edge Atlas is an AI-readable crypto market data and research data product for builders, researchers, and AI agents. It is intended to help users study crypto market structure, historical and forward-updating data, derived features, market regimes, setup labels, outcome labels, quality reports, research bundles, dataset cards, API fixtures, SDK/MCP access concepts, and related materials.
The Services are not a brokerage, exchange, broker-dealer, futures commission merchant, commodity trading advisor, investment adviser, portfolio manager, bank, custodian, trading signal service, copy-trading service, execution venue, order-routing service, live trading system, or financial adviser.
The Services do not provide financial, investment, legal, tax, accounting, regulatory, or trading advice. We do not recommend that you buy, sell, hold, trade, short, leverage, hedge, or otherwise transact in any asset. We do not guarantee profits, returns, strategy performance, model performance, trading outcomes, market coverage, market availability, data completeness, data freshness, or fitness for any trading purpose.
Historical outcomes, labels, features, backtest-like observations, research bundles, setup cards, and examples do not guarantee future results. Crypto assets are volatile and risky. You are solely responsible for your research decisions, trading decisions, compliance decisions, products, applications, and any losses or damages arising from your use of the Services.
The Services are not live-trading ready and are not a substitute for a real backtest, execution simulation, fee modeling, slippage modeling, risk controls, position sizing, portfolio construction, exchange connectivity review, production monitoring, or regulatory compliance review.
2. Current scope of the Services
The Services may include some or all of the following, depending on your plan, access approvals, and product availability:
- historical AI-readable market data libraries, including edge_atlas_historical_v1;
- forward-updating market data products, including edge_atlas_forward_v1;
- maturity-gated AI-readable labels and outcome labels, including edge_atlas_ai_labels_v1;
- research bundles, including edge_atlas_research_bundles_v1;
- product catalogs, manifests, release files, dataset cards, setup cards, quality reports, leakage warnings, training-safety flags, and schema metadata;
- REST API access, API keys, download endpoints, query endpoints, export jobs, signed download URLs, and related fixtures;
- Python SDKs, TypeScript SDKs, MCP server concepts or implementations, sample notebooks, scripts, and documentation;
- email support, webhooks, forward delivery, customer dashboard functions, or other features if and when shipped.
Certain features may be planned but not available. Unless we expressly state otherwise in writing, the following are not live at launch or during controlled alpha: customer trading endpoints, brokerage functions, order execution, customer exchange account access, customer exchange API-key access, live trading, a backtester endpoint, anonymous public bucket access, full-library download as a normal self-serve button, unbounded query endpoints, and user-provided SQL over the full S3 library.
Future products or concepts, including AlphaRank, Bot Arena, and Bounties, are excluded from these Terms unless we expressly state otherwise in a product-specific addendum or separate agreement. Those products may require additional terms because they involve public user-generated content, public picks, public scores, bot code, creator payouts, prizes, or other legal and regulatory considerations.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. You may not use the Services if you are barred from doing so under applicable law, sanctions rules, export controls, or these Terms.
You must provide accurate account information and keep it current. You are responsible for all activity under your account, API keys, credentials, seats, team accounts, and integrations. You must protect your credentials and notify us promptly at info@loremoney.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
We may require identity, company, tax, billing, eligibility, or compliance information before granting access, increasing usage limits, approving bulk exports, enabling commercial use, or approving a custom tier.
4. Plans, seats, end users, and commercial use
Your rights depend on your subscription plan, order form, written approval, or separate agreement.
A "seat" means one named individual authorized to access the Services for your account. Seats may not be shared, pooled, rotated to avoid seat limits, or used by multiple people.
An "end user" means a person or entity that accesses, receives, views, or benefits from a product, application, report, dashboard, agent workflow, or service that you build using the Services or LORE-derived outputs, other than your internal employees and contractors using the Services solely for your internal business use.
"Personal use" means individual, non-commercial research, learning, prototyping, and analysis for your own use only. Personal use does not include use for a company, client, revenue-generating product, consulting engagement, public paid product, investor-facing product, fund, trading business, or product used by third-party end users.
"Commercial use" means use for business, professional, revenue-generating, client-facing, investor-facing, internal company, or product-development purposes. Internal business use by a company counts as commercial use.
Unless an order form says otherwise, the current plans are:
| Plan | Baseline rights |
|---|---|
| Indie | $75/month, 1 seat, personal use only, standard rate limits, email support. |
| Startup | $599/month, 3 seats, commercial use license, applications with up to approximately 250 end users, higher rate limits, webhook or forward delivery if shipped, email support. |
| Pro | $2,499/month, 25 seats, commercial use for applications with up to approximately 10,000 end users, highest published rate limits, priority support, custom symbol expansion on request subject to approval. |
| Custom | Required above 10,000 end users, for redistribution-sensitive use cases, unusually large exports, unusual caching, special model-training rights, regulated use cases, or any use outside published limits. |
Published plan descriptions are summaries. If there is a conflict between a plan page and a signed order form or enterprise agreement, the signed order form or enterprise agreement controls.
5. License to use the Services
Subject to these Terms, your plan, payment obligations, documentation, rate limits, and any order form, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license during your subscription term to access and use the Services for your permitted use case.
You may use API responses, dataset excerpts, labels, quality metadata, documentation, sample code, and SDKs only as permitted by your plan and these Terms. You may not use the Services to create a competing raw or substantially similar data redistribution service, mirror the product library, or provide third parties with substitute access to the Services.
You may expose LORE-derived outputs inside your own products only if your plan or written approval permits commercial use and only within your applicable end-user limits. Unless expressly approved in writing, you may not expose raw LORE data, substantially complete datasets, release files, schemas, dataset cards, setup cards, or API-equivalent access to third parties.
6. Caching, exports, and retained copies
You may cache API responses and downloaded files only as reasonably necessary for your permitted use, within your plan limits, and in a way that preserves required metadata, quality warnings, freshness statuses, leakage warnings, training-safe flags, release IDs, and attribution requirements.
Unless your plan, documentation, or order form says otherwise, ordinary application caching may continue during your active subscription for up to 30 days from retrieval, and archival copies may be retained only as necessary for audit, reproducibility, legal compliance, or backup purposes. After your subscription ends, you must stop using the Services and delete or stop using cached LORE data except for read-only archival records needed for legal, tax, audit, or reproducibility purposes.
Bulk exports, full-library downloads, large signed downloads, and high-volume jobs require manual approval if they exceed published plan limits, alpha limits, or risk controls.
7. Model, agent, and AI use
The Services are designed to be AI-readable and may be used with agents, retrieval workflows, prompts, notebooks, scripts, dashboards, internal research systems, and model-assisted analysis as permitted by your plan.
Unless your plan or order form expressly permits it, you may not use the Services or LORE data to train, fine-tune, distill, adapt, benchmark, pre-train, create embeddings for third-party resale, or otherwise develop machine learning models or foundation models. A commercial plan may permit internal model-assisted workflows, RAG, embeddings for internal retrieval, and internal strategy research, but not raw data redistribution or API-equivalent access to third parties.
As between you and LORE, you own your prompts, notebooks, analyses, strategies, code, applications, customer-created models, and other materials that you independently create, excluding LORE materials. LORE owns and retains all rights in the Services, data products, schemas, labels, dataset cards, setup cards, documentation, APIs, SDKs, MCP resources, trademarks, derived feature definitions, product names, release structure, quality frameworks, and other LORE materials.
8. Attribution
If you publish substantial data excerpts, charts, tables, benchmarks, public research, public reports, academic work, or derived research based on the Services, you must identify LORE / Edge Atlas as a data source unless your order form or enterprise agreement says otherwise. A suggested attribution is: "Data source: LORE / Edge Atlas." You must not imply that LORE endorses your work, model, strategy, product, investment thesis, or trading result.
9. Data quality, releases, and warnings
The Services may include metadata such as product_id, release_id, schema_version, generated_at_utc, available_time, freshness_status, quality_status, coverage_status, source_limited_warning_count, leakage_warning, and training_safe. You must not remove, hide, falsify, or materially alter this metadata when it is needed to understand the limitations, maturity, availability, or permitted use of the data.
Forward products may update from exchange-native public sources where supported. Coverage can be limited by venue, symbol, region, endpoint availability, source restrictions, outages, rate limits, data quality, public endpoint changes, or infrastructure conditions. Daily operations may be marked yellow or otherwise warning-covered while still being usable with documented warnings. Future labels and outcome labels mature over time. Training-safe labels exclude immature outcomes.
Public release files are intended to be immutable inside a published release. Schemas are intended to be frozen for release versions, with breaking changes requiring major versions, but we may correct errors, patch issues, deprecate endpoints, add warnings, or change future versions.
You are responsible for validating all data, metadata, labels, warnings, release files, and outputs before using them in research, applications, commercial products, trading systems, model workflows, or public materials.
10. Source and infrastructure limitations
LORE may collect or derive data from exchange-native public sources and other public market-data contexts, including sources such as Binance USD-M futures, Binance spot, Hyperliquid, OKX, Bybit, Deribit, dYdX, Coinbase spot context, Kraken spot context, or other supported public sources. We do not use private customer exchange account endpoints, customer exchange API keys, or trading/order endpoints for the core Edge Atlas market-data products unless a future product expressly states otherwise.
Some public market data may be collected regionally because certain public endpoints are unavailable or restricted in particular jurisdictions. This does not mean that the Services provide brokerage, custody, private account access, trading, or regulated market access.
The Services may be hosted or operated using cloud infrastructure, storage, compute, monitoring, logging, secrets management, delivery, payment, analytics, email, support, and security providers.
11. Payment, billing, trials, and promotional access
Paid subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled as described at checkout, in your account, or in your order form. You authorize us and our payment processor to charge applicable subscription fees, taxes, overages, approved export charges, additional seats, plan upgrades, and other fees.
If we use Stripe or a similar payment processor, that processor will process payment details. We generally do not store full card numbers. We may store billing and account metadata needed to administer subscriptions, invoices, taxes, plans, and access.
Plan changes, upgrades, downgrades, seat changes, end-user allowance changes, and usage changes may take effect immediately, at the next billing cycle, or as otherwise stated at checkout or in an order form. You are responsible for taxes, duties, levies, and similar charges other than taxes on our income.
If payment fails, we may suspend, downgrade, limit, or terminate access after notice where practical. Unless required by law or stated in an order form, fees are non-refundable. Trials, controlled alpha access, coupons, comped access, promotional codes, and hidden or limited offers are discretionary, may be revoked or modified, and do not create a right to future free or discounted access.
Usage above published limits, alpha thresholds, export thresholds, seat limits, or end-user limits may require manual approval, additional fees, plan upgrade, custom tier, or enterprise agreement.
12. Acceptable use
You must comply with the Acceptable Use Policy and any documentation, rate limits, security requirements, or usage controls we provide. The Acceptable Use Policy is incorporated into these Terms.
13. Security and access controls
You must not share API keys outside your authorized team, embed secret keys in public code, bypass authentication, bypass metering, evade rate limits, or use the Services in a way that threatens platform integrity. You must use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational controls to protect downloaded data and API credentials.
We may monitor usage for metering, security, abuse prevention, debugging, cost control, product improvement, and legal compliance. We may throttle, suspend, revoke keys, require key rotation, block downloads, or limit access if we believe activity violates these Terms, creates risk, exceeds limits, or threatens the Services.
14. Customer content and feedback
You may provide support messages, feedback, bug reports, feature requests, comments, notebooks, code snippets, prompts, queries, or other materials ("Customer Content"). You retain your rights in Customer Content, subject to the rights you grant us to operate, support, secure, improve, and provide the Services.
If you provide feedback, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use it without restriction or compensation, provided that we do not disclose your confidential Customer Content except as allowed by these Terms, the Privacy Policy, or a separate agreement.
15. Confidentiality
Non-public documentation, credentials, private alpha materials, private pricing, unreleased features, private datasets, and other information we designate as confidential must be treated as confidential. You may use confidential information only to evaluate or use the Services under these Terms. You may disclose it only to personnel, contractors, advisers, or agents who need to know it and are bound by confidentiality obligations at least as protective as these Terms.
16. Third-party services and open-source software
The Services may link to or interoperate with third-party services, exchanges, infrastructure providers, SDKs, software packages, payment processors, authentication providers, analytics tools, documentation platforms, and cloud services. We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them may be governed by separate terms.
SDKs, samples, notebooks, scripts, or dependencies may include open-source software subject to separate licenses. Those licenses apply to the applicable components.
17. Compliance, sanctions, and regulated uses
You are responsible for complying with all laws, rules, regulations, sanctions, export controls, financial-services requirements, securities laws, commodities laws, consumer protection laws, data protection laws, advertising laws, and platform rules that apply to your use of the Services and your products.
You must not use the Services to provide regulated investment advice, broker-dealer services, commodity trading advice, portfolio management, copy trading, signals, custody, order execution, or other regulated financial services unless you have all required registrations, licenses, exemptions, disclosures, supervision, and compliance controls. You must not claim that LORE recommends trades, guarantees outcomes, endorses strategies, or provides regulated advice.
18. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access, revoke API keys, block downloads, remove features, or limit usage if we believe you violated these Terms, failed to pay, created security risk, exceeded usage limits, used the Services unlawfully, exposed us to legal or regulatory risk, or threatened the integrity of the Services.
You may cancel your subscription as described in your account, checkout flow, or order form. Termination does not relieve you of payment obligations incurred before termination. Sections that by their nature should survive will survive, including ownership, restrictions, confidentiality, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute provisions.
19. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES AND ALL DATA, LABELS, FEATURES, REPORTS, RELEASES, SCHEMAS, DATASET CARDS, SETUP CARDS, SDKS, APIS, MCP RESOURCES, DOCUMENTATION, EXAMPLES, AND OUTPUTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, AVAILABILITY, SECURITY, DATA FRESHNESS, DATA COVERAGE, PROFITABILITY, TRADING FITNESS, AND ERROR-FREE OPERATION.
We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, timely, complete, accurate, compatible with your systems, free of gaps or errors, or suitable for any trading, investment, research, production, compliance, or commercial purpose.
20. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LORE AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, SUPPLIERS, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR LOST-PROFIT DAMAGES; TRADING LOSSES; INVESTMENT LOSSES; LOST DATA; BUSINESS INTERRUPTION; LOST REVENUE; LOST GOODWILL; MODEL ERRORS; STRATEGY ERRORS; APPLICATION ERRORS; OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM DATA GAPS, DELAYS, WARNINGS, QUALITY ISSUES, SOURCE LIMITATIONS, OR SERVICE UNAVAILABILITY.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) FEES YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SERVICES IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY OR (B) $100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
21. Indemnification
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless LORE and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, suppliers, and licensors from and against claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from or related to: your use of the Services; your Customer Content; your products, applications, models, strategies, research, public materials, or end-user offerings; your violation of these Terms; your violation of law; your misuse of LORE data or metadata; or your regulated financial-services activities.
22. Changes to the Services or Terms
We may modify, suspend, discontinue, deprecate, or limit parts of the Services at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice through the Services, by email, or by another reasonable method. The updated Terms will be effective when posted or as stated in the notice. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
23. Governing law, arbitration, and class-action waiver
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Binding arbitration. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Services, or your relationship with LORE will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") under its Commercial Arbitration Rules then in effect. The arbitration will be conducted in Davidson County, Tennessee, or remotely by agreement of the parties. The arbitrator's award will be final and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Class-action waiver. You and LORE each agree that disputes will be brought solely on an individual basis. You and LORE waive any right to participate as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, consolidated, representative, or private-attorney-general proceeding, and the arbitrator may not consolidate claims or preside over any form of class or representative proceeding.
Court venue for non-arbitrable matters. For any claim that cannot be arbitrated as a matter of law, or for proceedings to compel arbitration or enforce an arbitration award, the exclusive venue will be the state and federal courts located in Davidson County, Tennessee, and the parties waive any objection to venue or personal jurisdiction in those courts.
Jury trial waiver. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the parties waive any right to a trial by jury in any action, proceeding, or counterclaim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services.
Small-claims exception. Either party may bring an individual action in small-claims court if the claim qualifies and is brought solely on an individual basis.
24. General terms
You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, corporate reorganization, sale of assets, or by operation of law. These Terms, any order form, the Privacy Policy, and the Acceptable Use Policy are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services unless a separate signed agreement says otherwise. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. Headings are for convenience only.
